AuroYajna continues the series of workshops on "Towards Self Perfection started in July 2021 as their first step towards Divine Life in Divine Body.
This series is based on Sri Aurobindo's message - "Divine Life cannot manifest without the Divine Body".
Part 1 of the series is "Perfection of the Body".
To have the body as a perfect instrument, every system of the body, viz. the digestive system, the neurological system, the cardiovascular system, and each body organ needs to be perfected and in harmony amongst themselves.
This month AuroYajna wants to improve the functioning of heart and blood vessels and hence this month it is “Yoga for the Cardiovascular System”.
The cardiovascular system in the human body, is made of the heart, blood, and blood vessels (arteries and veins).
The cardiovascular system delivers oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and other important substances to cells and organs in the body. It plays an important role in helping the body meet the demands of activity, exercise, and stress. It also helps maintain body temperature, among other things.
The cardiovascular system in yogic science is studied, understood and developed in the most advanced and different way than that of the modern western medical school of thought. With increasing research in yoga, it is believed that yoga can reduce stress and increase the functioning capacity of the cardiovascular system.
The workshop includes the specific yogic practices viz. Pranayam, Bandh, Mudras, Relaxation techniques, Asana, etc. that are dedicated to help to develop the strength and stamina of the Heart and Cardiovascular system.
This workshop is open for all on offering basis from October 18 to 23, 2021
