Auro Model Prison (Earlier Puthiya Nambikkai)

Puthiya Nambikkai (meaning ‘New Hope’ in Tamizh language) now renamed as Auro Model Prison is a collaborative effort between Sri Aurobindo Society, Pondicherry Police Department and Satya Special School, towards

a) Prisoners Reformation and Rehabilitation

b) Awareness of Police Personnel in Puducherry (Central Prison, Kalapet, Puducherry), based on a deeper spiritual approach.

Sri Aurobindo Society Puducherry has set up the Auro Centre for Public Nutrition, Public Health and Public Policy (ACPN) in November 2021.
