The year 2020 has been a very special albeit challenging year for the whole world.
The humanity collectively strove to bear, face, took effort to overcome the upheaval with a lot of patience, faith & love.
As if this year was a one golden opportunity for everyone to practice going more and more within and step out consciously.
Remembering the best of learning and realizations of this year, and to move on more sincerely, strongly and steadily is our constant prayer towards the end of this year.
And, a strong aspiration which came up through it was to make one collective effort for collective wellbeing and progress.
To herald the New Year in the light and with the blessings of The Divine Mother and The Master; AuroYajna has planned to recite the complete Savitri of Sri Aurobindo over the 31st of December 2020 and 1st of January 2021 as a collective prayer.
The recitation will take place in the AuroYajna department - SAS.
Savitri, as you are all aware, contains 724 pages and about 24,000 lines. It will take around 28 to 30 hours to do an akhand path (continuous recitation) of Savitri, considering the different pace of reading.
Everyone who volunteers will read for 30 minutes at one time. There will be time slots of 30 minutes, each one can reserve a preferred time slot. One can opt for reading just once or multiple times over these 30 hours.
Those desirous of listening can come and sit silently whenever convenient to them.

We surrender to Thee this evening all that is artificial and false, all that pretends and imitates. Let it disappear with the year that is at an end. May only what is perfectly true, sincere, straight and pure subsist in the year that is beginning.
- The Mother, 1935
