About the Workshop
A workshop on discovering and expressing the core of one’s creative depths using words, colour, nature, movement, senses ....
Three days of intensity, of exploration, of expression. Three days of bridging the past and future, and watching them dissolve. A space which is a juncture and journey, connection and isolation, moving in and dancing outside!
We invite you for a journey into your creative depths and your unique expression. No, it’s not about how good you are at grammar! We move beyond the skin of poetry and prose, art and colour, stage and performance. We move into the spaces from where it all comes. We learn some techniques, but more importantly, we learn to rise above them. We become dangerously powerful as we discover the power of perspective and how it can change the world for us, and us for the world.
Three days in the serene beauty of sacred spaces we will house you in and take you for walks, spaces that you would not easily come to, if you came as a tourist! Come share the gift of a beautiful Christmas with us and decide the pulse of the new year in the phenomenon that is Pondicherry!This is an experience for those who know how to receive blessings. Registration time on 26th December - 9:30am
Daily schedule: 9:30am onwards - Sessions (Resident participants may leave any time after 5:30pm)
Concluding time on 28th December - 5pm
About the Facilitator
Harvinder Kaur, Director, Auro Mirra International School, Bangalore; Educator, teacher-trainer, writer, poet, photographer, who is crazy about the moon, tea, poetry and everything made of starlight. The school she has set up speaks of a creative bent of mind as does her writing! For Whom 
Anyone over 21 years of age who is interested in diving deep to bring out the gifts of a creative space! The medium of the workshop will be English, with a generous amount of Hindi and a ‘tadka’ of other languages. You don’t have to be a master in English or Hindi, but should know enough to follow the flow. This is not a workshop on teaching you to publish and become famous, though some may find it helpful even for that!
Workshop Contribution
Workshop contribution of Rs. 3600/- includes facilitation, materials cost, lunch & snacks for 3 days. This contribution does not include accommodation at Sharanam and breakfast & dinner.
Venue
The serene and beautiful environs of our community centre, Sharanam (https://sharanam.aurosociety.org), on the outskirts of Puducherry, about 10kms from the city.
About the Stay and Food
Please reach the workshop venue Sharanam before 9:30am on 26th December. The workshop concludes by 5 pm on 28th December. We can arrange beautiful, unique and very reasonably priced rooms/dormitories for those who would like to take the residential option at Sharanam itself.
For those who are staying in Sharanam the room options are as below:

We can help in booking accommodation in Ashram related Guest houses in Puducherry prior and post the workshop, if contacted on selection.
You may also choose to come in the morning and go back to your place in the evening especially if you are a local person. In that case, the above accommodation and food cost need not be paid.

There are limited seats, so please fill up the google application form giving your details. Applicants shall make the payment only on hearing of their selection from us. We will close the applications when seats are full.
Special Note
Due to Covid-19 induced special circumstances, all the recommended safety measures will be ensured at the venue which itself is a closed campus. All the participants will be staying within the campus and food will also be served within the campus.
While making your flight travel plans, you may consider for a minimum cancellation fee option while booking your flight ticket, owing to uncertain Covid-19 times.
For selected candidates – 50% of the workshop fee of Rs. 3600 will be refunded if cancellation is done on or before 15th December 2020. Other contributions such accommodation and food will be returned fully at the time of cancellation. For further clarification, please contact us.
