On the occasion of celebrating World Sanskrit Day and centenary of Sri Aurobindo Ashram & Siddhi Day, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society, under the initiative International Sanskrit Study and Research Forum will organize an International Conference on Scientific Heritage and Knowledge Systems of India in Relation to Sanskrit Language, Literature, and Cultural Heritage on 28th August, 2026.

The heritage of Sanskrit symbolizes rich traditions and varied influences that have shaped its existence over thousands of years. Sanskrit, the divine wisdom that has inspired humanity over the ages, is the cornerstone of Indian culture. Studying Sanskrit and Indian culture offers profound insights into the philosophical, practical, and spiritual facets of life. It also covers many facets of the culture of India, such as knowledge and wisdom. In addition to making considerable efforts to preserve and advance Sanskrit, Sri Aurobindo has significantly interpreted the essence of Sanskrit language.

Ancient Indians had a profound knowledge on different aspects and science in Ancient India is a vast and significant topic that encompasses a rich history of discoveries, advancements, and contributions across various fields. The scientific achievements of ancient India laid the foundation for numerous modern scientific principles and practices. In the current situation, new methods for developing curriculum that incorporate Sanskrit literature and its applicability to the present day have been employed.

In order to make Sanskrit education more widely available, NEP also encourages the development of digital resources in Sanskrit by launching online learning environments and digital libraries. Therefore, the development and deeper comprehension of the cultural ethos of Indian Cultural Heritage would undoubtedly be supported by the incorporation of Sanskrit and research into the educational framework. With a focus on the ancient knowledge system that will be helpful in building a sustainable human society, this conference aims to comprehend the importance of Sanskrit in the modern world.

Submission of Abstract: 10th July, 2026

Submission of full paper: 15th August, 2026
