It is not necessary that every man should be an artist. It is necessary that every man should have his artistic faculty developed…
-- Sri Aurobindo
This online session on Fine Arts offers valuable guidance for artists and art lovers seeking to enrich their creativity and deepen their appreciation of art. It will help participants explore development of artistic expression, refinement of perception and inner growth.
In correspondences with disciples, as well as in talks and writings, Sri Aurobindo and the Mother have revealed a deeper perspective of art in various forms such as painting, poetry and music. This online session is inspired by those insights and aims to present art not merely as technique, but as a conscious discipline that refines sensitivity, awakens inspiration and connects creativity with higher awareness.
