The International Conference “Bharat from Past Dawns to future Noons: An Analysis of Socio-Cultural Dynamics and Contemporary relevance of Bharat in the Light of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother” represents the vast history of Bharat from thousands of years of its existence including diverse influences and rich traditions.

Bharat is known for its immense cultural diversity, which manifests in various forms. Sri Aurobindo, the great yogi, seer and philosopher has opined “India is the guru of the nations, the physician of the human soul in its profounder maladies; she is destined once more to new-mould the life of the world and restore the peace of the human spirit.” The Mother has also mentioned about the greatness of Bharat “The Soul of India is one and indivisible. India is conscious of her mission in the world. She is waiting for the exterior means of manifestation.”

The Foundation of Indian Culture is the Vedas, the sacred wisdom which has shaped humanity through the ages. These studies encompass various aspects of the culture of Bharat, including knowledge, and wisdom, offering deep insights into the spiritual, philosophical, and practical dimensions of life.

The significance of Bharat can be seen in various domains. Indian philosophy, including Vedanta, Yoga, and Buddhism, has influenced global thought, promoting ideas of interconnectedness, meditation, and mindfulness and the culture's richness make it a subject of endless fascination and study. The ability to adapt and integrate diverse influences while retaining core traditions is one of the finest examples of enduring strength and relevance.

The conference seeks to explore the idea of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which encourages a global perspective that respects and cares for the environment. Incorporating values of empathy, non-violence, and sustainability into education systems, promoting global citizenship and intercultural understanding, leveraging Indian wisdom in international forums to address global issues in the light of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

In conclusion, integrating the wisdom of Bharat with globalization studies, peace, and sustainability offers a comprehensive approach to creating a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. This synergy can inspire new solutions and foster a global culture of peace and sustainability.
