Objective:
The workshop aimed to help participants understand and experience "Flow" — a natural, harmonious movement within — by exploring and integrating different parts of their being. Drawing from Integral yoga Psychology, the workshop offered a framework to recognise inner fragmentation and cultivate inner coherence, leading to a more conscious and fulfilled life.
Key Concepts Explored:
- Flow as Integration: Flow arises when all parts of the being — physical, vital, emotional, mental, and deeper self — function healthily and harmoniously. Disconnection between these parts leads to blockage or inner conflict.
- Parts of the Being: Participants explored eight aspects of the self:
- Physical: Stability, health, consistency; vulnerable to inertia.
- Lower Vital (Senses): Aesthetic delight, comfort; prone to cravings or fear.
- Central Vital (Dynamic Vital): Drive, ambition, energy.
- Emotional (Heart): Warmth, bonding, compassion.
- Data Mind: Precision, logic, structure.
- Fluid Creative Mind: Imagination, innovation.
- Integrative Mind: Clarity, purpose, synthesis.
- Deeper Self: Inner guidance, intuition, sacred aspiration.
Practices & Exercises:
- Nature Qualities Exercise: Participants observed nature images (e.g., water, mountains) to identify resonant qualities. This helped surface which part of their being was active or seeking attention.
- Inner Enquiry Framework: Individuals reflected on areas of flow and stagnation in relationships, work, or inner life to identify which part of their being needed nurturing.
- Awareness Practice: A guided meditation helped participants shift attention gradually from head to feet, anchoring awareness in breath and sensation — bringing presence to each part of the being and allowing the Divine energy to transform that part of the being.
Takeaways:
Participants learned that recognising the strengths and distortions of each inner part with objectivity and compassion allows for integration and healing. Cultivating aspiration and trusting inner guidance are essential to unblock flow and align with higher purpose.
Conclusion:
This workshop created a reflective, embodied space for deep self-enquiry. Participants left with tools to continue this integration journey in daily life — enabling inner alignment, vitality and conscious action.
