This workshop with Ankita Sharma focused on spiritual transformation through Sri Aurobindo’s Force, emphasising self-enquiry, surrender, rejection and aspiration as key methods. It began by centring awareness through a guided meditation, offering the different parts of the body to the Divine, and invoking Sri Aurobindo and the Mother for transformation. The participants explored the role of ego in evolution, learning that while the ego initially shapes individuality, true progress comes from aligning the psychic being with the higher self. Through practices of the witness consciousness and self-observation, seekers identified inner resistances and learned to offer limitations and difficulties for transformation. The workshop emphasised that spiritual growth is not just about rejecting difficulties, but also integrating joy as a part of the process. The participants practised breathwork, affirmations, and visualisations to embody higher experiences in the physical being, ensuring that spiritual realisations are not just intellectual but fully lived. The importance of faith, patience and surrender was highlighted, with Sri Aurobindo’s Force acting as an accelerating catalyst for transformation, when one aspires sincerely. Through practical exercises, meditation, and self-reflection, the workshop guided seekers to open more deeply to the Divine Force, allowing for inner alignment, courage and the realisation of their highest spiritual potential.

[Practices helpful?]
“Yes. Methods to keep Aspiration active using focus on improved awareness in different hody parts using conscious breathing - inhaling and exhaling ... need to work on transformation of lower nature using Psychic centre.”
