On the joyous occasion of Sri Aurobindo Society’s 63rd birth anniversary on 19 September this year, we will host a Sitar Recital by Soham Munim at MatriNiketan, Pondicherry’s iconic heritage building.

An ex-student of the Ashram School, Soham has performed widely as a soloist on Sitar as well as having experimented in the World-Fusion space in collaborations – which have led him to research and subsequently create his own instrument, the SiGVee, in uniquely adding to the existing Sitar techniques and their implementations through an original approach.
