What really is work? Is it what we do outside? But what we do outside derives its value from what or who we are inside. The two are intricately connected. The real value of work derives itself from many things apart from the actual work itself. Besides work is not just an outer action that is tangible and visible, but even much more the stirrings of our thoughts and emotions and their vibrations and currents that silently pour upon the world impacting all things from within. Most importantly how does work impact us? Does it bind us or free us?
These were some of the topics that were discussed in the seminar that was jointly organised by NAMAH, the Journal of Integral Health and Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Indian Culture (SAFIC). The workshop was directed towards finding an answer to the complex knot of works in the light of Karmayoga practised while in the thick of the world itself.
