Many activities are taken to maintain the outer harmony, but what is more important is the inner harmony. This inner harmony can be attained through spiritual harmony. Spiritual harmony helps a person to cope up with addiction, abuse, stress and what not. Having this in mind, the Gwalior branch of Sri Aurobindo Society organised a one day event, the Gita Jayanthi.
The Gita Jayanti was observed as the Day of Spiritual Harmony (Samarasata Divas). This year it was celebrated on 8 December 2019. It is an annual festival of SAS , Gwalior Branch.
A well-known social worker of Gwalior city, Sri Mahesh Parashar was invited as the Chief Guest. Around two hours of quality time was spent on discussing about Bodhayantah parasparama and the essential messages of Gita in the light of Sri Aurobindo.
There were 12 active speakers who took the discussions to a higher level. About 35 persons of different age groups including women and children attended the programme with great enthusiasm.
The Chief Guest, Sri Mahesh Parashar, spoke on Gita in day-to-day life, which was indeed an illuminating talk. Mokshda Ekadashi was also observed on the same day as a part of the celebration. As an end to the celebrations, Phalahari Prasad was served to all the people who had come for the celebrations.
