From June 8 to 12, 2019, Sri Aurobindo Centre for Homeopathy (SACH, a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry) organized a Yogasana and Pranayama Camp at the Society House, Puducherry, which was conducted by Yoga Guru Swami Taponidhi Saraswati, who has trained from Munger (Bihar) School of Yoga. A total of 40 participants, both male and female, between 20 to 75 years of age enthusiastically attended the camp.
Guru-ji conducted these special classes for duration of 1 hour 30 minutes (6.00 am to 7.30 am) in the morning daily for 5 days, teaching Yogic practices including Mantrocchar, Yogasanas, Pranayama and Yoganidra. Each class was followed by a question–answer session at the end, to clarify all doubts and to provide additional knowledge to all the participants. This was a great opportunity for people who are prone to lifestyle illnesses such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypothyroid or Dyslipidemia to not learn yogasanas to combat their illnesses but also adopt a better lifestyle to avoid any future health issues.
