“It is only in the calm that one can know and do. All that is done in agitation and violence is an aberration and a folly. The first sign of the divine presence in the being is peace.”—THE MOTHER
On September 16–17, 2017, Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research (SACAR) and NAMAH—The Journal of Integral Health (a quarterly publication of Sri Aurobindo International Institute for Integral Health and Research [SAIIIHR]) jointly conducted a ‘Living Within’ Study Camp, titled ‘Stress and Growth’.
Stress has enormous implications when one has embarked on the path of growth. The workshop explored deeply into the causes of stress and ways to address it. Through experiential revelations and in-depth interactions, an effort was made to explore going beyond tension and stress to truly discover ‘well-being’, ‘innate wholeness’ and sustained dynamic inner peace.
The seminar also looked at ‘Stress’ as a positive force for change, as an evolutionary force, which can only be accommodated by the vastness of the soul or spirit and not the littleness of ego-bound human nature.
The speakers for the Workshop were as follows:
• Dr Ananda Reddy
• Dr Alok Pandey
• Dr Debabrata Sahani
• Mr James Anderson
• Dr Uttareshwar Pachegaonkar
• Dr Yogesh Mohan
• Dr Sampadananda Mishra
• Ms Margot Esther Borden
• Ms Preeti D’mello
• Dr Falguni Jani
The Camp was open to all.
