Orientation Programme, St. Joseph's College, Cuddalore

SVARNIM conducted an Orientation Programme for students of St. Joseph’s College, Cuddalore, with a focus on experiential learning, social responsibility, and community engagement. The session was held in an open, natural setting, where students sat together outdoors and engaged closely with the facilitator, encouraging active participation and reflective learning. The informal environment helped students connect the ideas discussed to real-life situations, reinforcing the importance of learning beyond the classroom and developing a sense of responsibility towards their community.

Induction Programme (Deeksharambh 2026), Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing, Puducherry

SVARNIM conducted an Induction Programme, Deeksharambh 2026, for first-year students of Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing, Puducherry, across M.Sc. (N), B.Sc. (N), P.B.BSc. (N), DGNM, and ANM courses, held from 7 to 17 September 2026. The programme supported students in their transition to higher education and professional learning. A dedicated session on the theme “Igniting Young Minds: Need of an Hour” was held on 17 September 2026 at the college auditorium, led by Dr. P.R. Vinothkumar, Medical Sociologist, Motivational Speaker, Lifeskills Facilitator, and Programme Coordinator at ORC, Sri Aurobindo Society. The session encouraged students to reflect on self-awareness and purpose as they began their professional journey in nursing.

Orientation Programme, Pondicherry University

SVARNIM conducted an Orientation Programme for students of Pondicherry University, introducing them to learning, engagement, and personal development opportunities available to them. The session aimed at helping students settle into university life with clarity and confidence, while encouraging them to make the most of the opportunities for growth offered during their academic journey.

One-Day Induction Programme, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering & Technology, Mahabalipuram

SVARNIM conducted a One-Day Induction Programme for more than 800 first-year students from all departments of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering & Technology, Mahabalipuram, as part of the institution’s Induction Day Ceremony 2026. The programme focused on essential life skills, including self-awareness, emotional well-being, healthy relationships, responsible decision-making, critical thinking, creative thinking, and empathy. Interactive and activity-based exercises were used on stage to engage students directly, making the sessions lively and relatable while helping students build a strong foundation of life skills as they began their college journey.

Outcome

Across all four institutions, the orientation and induction programmes helped students transition confidently into their new academic environments. Through experiential, reflective, and interactive approaches, students gained a stronger sense of self-awareness, social responsibility, and essential life skills, equipping them to navigate both their academic and personal journeys with greater clarity and purpose.
