Creative Expressions and Entrepreneurship program for performing arts students was organized by AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society for the students of Bharathiar Palkalaikoodam, Bharathiar Centre for Performing & Visual Arts, Government of Puducherry.

Dr Kishor Kumar Tripathy, Member Secretary and Charu Tripathy, Associate Director, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society interacted with the students on the national value of arts in the light of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, highlighting the art of listening, capacity building, digital promotion, and sustainability. It aimed to integrate traditional wisdom with contemporary practices for holistic development of performing arts students.

The internship program focussed on interact with the young artists to nurture creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking among students, helping them explore new dimensions in performing arts and develop practical skills for future opportunities.

The coordination ensured effective planning, smooth execution, and active participation of students. Both institutions worked closely to provide meaningful learning experiences and maintain strong academic and cultural engagement throughout the program.

The experience provided deep cultural insights and meaningful interaction with young minds, enriching their understanding of traditions and inspiring appreciation for India’s rich artistic heritage.

The program was co-ordinated by Charu Tripathy, Associate Director of AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society and Dr L. Annapoorna, Principal (i/c), BPK, Puducherry. Fieldwork included visits to temples and sacred places to explore the origin and evolution of Indian performing arts.
