AuroModel Prison and the AuroKrishi Farm Project participated at Farm Fest 2026, at the Botanical Garden from 30th January to 1st February 2026. This participation and exposure served as an important platform to exhibit our organic agriculture produce, traditional local seeds and Medicinal/herbs saplings.

We had set up an exhibition cum sales counter which prominently displayed a wide range of farm produce cultivated through Natural and Conscious Farming methods. The exhibits included Turmeric roots, Mango ginger seeds and various tuber crops produced at the Central Prison, along with 18 varieties of herbal and medicinal plants, of about 450 saplings and traditional varieties of vegetable seeds from Aurokrishi. These products attracted significant attention from farmers, green work enthusiasts and the general public.

The stall was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the Hon’ble Governor of Puducherry in the presence of senior officials from the Agriculture and other departments. Their visit and interaction with the staff lead by Jail Superintendent highlighted the importance of rehabilitative farming initiatives and sustainable agricultural practices implemented at the AuroModel Prison and AuroKrishi.

Our exhibits on display received overwhelming appreciation from visiting farmers, officials and the general public, who were attracted to the traditional varieties of the produce through Natural and Conscious farming practices.
