Dr Kishor Kumar Tripathy, Member Secretary, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry received the prestigious "Ambassador for Community Outreach and National Integration Award" from the honorable Thiru K Lakshminarayan, Minister of Tourism, Government of Puducherry, during a special ceremony held at Alliance Francaise on November 27, 2025.

Eminent personalities, including Shri. R. BASKAR @ DATCHANAMOURTTY, Member of Legislative Assembly, Ariankuppam, Puducherry, Mr Laurent Jalicous, Director, Alliance Francaise, Thiru Sundar Murugan, Founder ABAY NGO and eminent scholars and social worker were present during the occasion.

This recognition highlights the contributions made towards community development, particularly in relation to the rich Tamil heritage, a culture renowned for its wisdom, artistic brilliance, and profound human values that are intertwined with our national heritage. Through our initiatives at SAS, significant emphasis  was given  on Community Outreach, aiming to tackle critical issues concerning the diversity of expressions and the unity found within this rich diversity by showcasing the common cultural threads that connect various groups, inspired by the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Dr Tripathy’s association with the Sri Aurobindo Society has further reinforced this mission, providing a platform to promote cultural preservation and community development. This award symbolizes not only individual achievements but also the collective commitment of all those who endeavor to foster harmony, inclusivity, and cultural pride. We extend gratitude to the founders of ABAY NGO, Milestone Community College, and Nanbargal Thottam, Union Territory of Puducherry, for this honor.
