Childhood is the symbol of the future and the hope of all victories to come.
-The Mother
If you will study, study for her sake; train yourselves body and mind and soul for her service. You will earn your living that you may live for her sake. You will go abroad to foreign lands that you may bring back knowledge with which you may do service to her. Work that she may prosper. Suffer that she may rejoice. All is contained in that one single advice. -Sri Aurobindo
The Annual Bal Samskriti workshop was held with an emphasis on "Leadership Development, Culture & Sustainability: Integral Approach" at Sri Aurobindo Society in Puducherry on December 8, 2025. This event was collaboratively organized by AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society, and the Integral School from Khalikot, Odisha. The objective of the session was to enhance leadership development, culture, and sustainability, with a particular focus on the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

The interactive session, facilitated by Kishor Kumar Tripathy, underscored the dual application of the teaching-learning framework, which integrates traditional knowledge systems with their scientific applications to foster leadership development.
Dr.Tripathy, warmly welcomed the participants and outlined the significance of nurturing a reading culture, especially its impact on Creative Expressions and leadership Development for future educational frameworks. Dr. Tripathy highlighted that an integral approach to leadership development acknowledges that effective, future-ready leaders must harmonize personal growth, organizational culture, and sustainability objectives.
During an interaction with the students, Dr. Tripathy emphasized that culture is fundamental in fostering sustainability. When values such as accountability, inclusivity, and innovation are consistently promoted, employees are more inclined to engage in sustainable practices.

Representatives from the Integral School discussed how sustainability evolves into a strategic necessity rather than merely a compliance obligation. By incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into everyday operations, organizations can enhance their resilience and build trust with stakeholders. Ultimately, an integral approach fosters a self-reinforcing cycle where empowered leaders cultivate a purpose-driven culture that propels sustainable performance throughout the organization.
