As part of our ongoing commitment to inmates well-being, the Auro Model Prison Project, in collaboration with Shree Varma, Puducherry, organised a follow up Ayurveda camp at the Central Prison, Kalapet, on 8th November 2025. This initiative is part of a broader effort to provide holistic care and support rehabilitation through health and hygiene awareness.
The camp was facilitated by Three Ayurveda doctors and Three assistants, coordinated by Dr. Shree Varma. Approximately 60 inmates and prison staff were treated for skin and other ailments.
The need for follow-up treatments was noted for several individuals, and a regular follow up camp is being planned on a monthly basis initially.
