The National Conference titled "The Ideals of Integral Education: Insights from Sri Aurobindo" was collaboratively organized by ITM SLS Baroda University, M S University, Varoda, and the Ministry of Culture at ITM SLS University on the 11th of October, 2025. Dr. Kishor Kumar Tripathy, the Member Secretary of AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society, was invited to participate in the ceremony and to present a paper entitled "The Ideals of Integral Education Insights from the Philosophy of Sri Aurobindo".

During this event, Prof. Dr. Vedvyas Dwivedi, the Vice-Chancellor of ITM SLS University, addressed the audience regarding the significance of Sri Aurobindo's teachings and highlighted their practical application for fostering a sustainable society.

Prof. Amit Dholakia, the Co-ordinator for the Commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo, shared insights concerning the celebration of Sri Aurobindo’s concepts related to integral education.

The conference was structured into four academic sessions. In the first session, Prof. Dr. Vedvyas Dwivedi discussed the importance of Sri Aurobindo's teachings from the perspective of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and provided pertinent references from Sri Aurobindo's writings during his tenure in Varoda. He articulated that by promoting inner development, empathy, and a connection with nature, Integral Education facilitates personal, social, and ecological sustainability, steering humanity towards a more conscious way of living.

In the second Academic Session, Prof. Amit Dholakia elaborated on the principles and practices of Sri Aurobindo concerning integral education. He underscored that this practice focuses on self-discovery, harmony, and conscious evolution through a fivefold educational approach. By merging ancient spiritual wisdom with contemporary scientific understanding, it cultivates well-rounded, self-aware individuals.

Dr. Kishor Kumar Tripathy, Member Secretary of AuroBharati at the Sri Aurobindo Society, discussed "The Ideals of Integral Education, Global Engagement and Sustainability: Insights from the Philosophy of Sri Aurobindo." He highlighted that Integral Education, as conceived by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, seeks the comprehensive development of an individual's physical, emotional, mental, psychic, and spiritual dimensions. The three foundational principles of this approach are: nothing can be taught, the mind must be engaged in its development, and learning should progress from the familiar to the unfamiliar.

Dr. Sharayu Brahmabhatt, Assistant Professor in the Department of English at M S University Baroda, addressed the literary importance of Sri Aurobindo and its relevance in today's context. During this event, research scholars presented their papers focusing on the educational dimensions of Sri Aurobindo's teachings.
