On 19th August 2025, SARVAM, in collaboration with the Red Cross, successfully organised a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on First Aid at the Satyam Community Centre. The programme was designed to equip volunteers with essential life-saving skills, particularly to address emergencies involving students, women, and the elderly.
Conducted by an experienced trainer, the session included a detailed PowerPoint presentation covering crucial areas such as wound care, CPR, fracture management, and handling unconscious individuals. Real-life stories and case studies were shared, allowing participants to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The interactive format, including a dynamic question-and-answer session, encouraged volunteers to clarify doubts and strengthen their understanding.
The training not only built participants’ confidence but also inspired them to share their learning with others. All volunteers expressed deep appreciation for the programme and pledged to spread first aid knowledge in their communities, thereby creating a ripple effect of preparedness and awareness. Through this initiative, SARVAM continues its mission of empowering communities with practical skills that can save lives.
