On 16th August 2025, SARVAM organised special programmes across ten project villages to commemorate Independence Day and the birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo. Nearly 250 students participated with great enthusiasm. The events included interactive sessions where resource persons highlighted India’s struggle for freedom, the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters, and the historic significance of Independence Day. Students also learned about the life and work of Sri Aurobindo—his contribution to the freedom movement and his profound ideas on spirituality, education, and nation-building.
The celebrations provided a creative platform for students to express their patriotism through paintings and colourful rangoli designs symbolising unity and harmony. Cultural performances and group activities deepened their understanding of values such as freedom, integrity, and responsibility toward the nation.
The cheerful atmosphere and active participation left a lasting impression on the young minds, fostering love for the country, respect for its great leaders, and an enduring spirit of patriotism and unity. By combining learning with creative and cultural expression, the celebrations helped instil values that will guide the students in their personal and collective growth.
