On 16th August 2025, SARVAM, in collaboration with the F & F Foundation, Auroville, organised a special awareness programme for students at the Satyam Community Centre. The session, led by a nature enthusiast from Auroville, aimed at inspiring children to develop a strong bond with nature and understand their role in protecting the environment.

The resource person highlighted the importance of trees, the practice of seed planting, and simple ways in which individuals can contribute to environmental sustainability. The interactive discussions encouraged students to see environmental conservation as a shared responsibility and motivated them to actively participate in nurturing greenery around them.

At the conclusion of the programme, each student was gifted seed balls to plant in their surroundings. This hands-on activity instilled in them a sense of ownership and responsibility towards protecting Mother Nature. The children enthusiastically took a pledge to plant and safeguard trees in their villages and to always respect and preserve greenery.

This initiative left a lasting impact on the young participants, fostering values of environmental stewardship and collective responsibility for a greener future.
