To celebrate Sri Aurobindo Society’s 63 birth anniversary, Soham Munim enthralled the audience with a wonderful Sitar Recital on the evening of 19 September 2023 at MatriNiketan, Pondicherry.

An ex-student of the Ashram School in Pondicherry, sitar wonderboy Soham Munim has performed widely as a soloist on Sitar as well as having experimented in the World-Fusion space in collaborations – which have led him to research and subsequently 

create his own instrument, the SiGVee, in uniquely adding to the existing Sitar techniques and their implementations through an original approach.   

Soham performed in the aesthetic ambience of MatriNiketan, one of Pondicherry’s foremost heritage buildings beside the sea mesmerizing around 30 people who attended the event.
