A celebration of Earth Day was held at Satyam Centre on 22nd April with 100 students.
Earth Day draws attention to issues like global warming and the depletion of natural resources. The significance of environmental protection for human survival is highlighted by World Earth Day. Oceans and land on Earth provide a home for numerous animals. Each one must save this planet.
Considering this, SARVAM students participated in many activities as part of the celebrations at the Sathyam Community Center on 22nd April 2023.
As part of the program, a brief introduction was given to the importance of Earth Day. The students were encouraged to participate in events to raise awareness and take action to protect the environment. They discussed ideas for how to reduce their carbon footprint and conserve resources. They also formed teams to create a plan to implement their ideas. The teams presented their projects to the class, and the best plan was chosen. The chosen group was allowed to present their plan in front of all the students.
The activities included planting trees, cleaning the area surrounding the centre, and drawings and paintings on sustainable living. The students also participated in a group discussion about how to protect the environment. The day ended with a presentation about protecting the environment and a call to action to become more sustainable and reduce waste. The students went home feeling inspired and motivated to make a difference.
