On June 1 and 4, 2017, two workshops on understanding the self and its outer and inner influencing forces that govern our feelings, thoughts and actions were held at the Society House in Puducherry for Students of Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. The workshops were facilitated by Ravi Shanker, Creative Director, Theatre Arts in Integral Education and Kiran, Resource Facilitator, Sri Aurobindo Society – both practitioners in the field of Integral Education.
The workshops helped the 20 participants attending to realize the significance of staying aware of the self and their surroundings. They were also able to arrive at ways of discovering their real nature and true action in life and accelerate their progress consciously.
Finally, the group of students collectively presented a silent act of gratitude by personifying themselves as a metaphor of ever-blossoming beauty and delight.
The sessions were facilitated as a process of discovery wherein all the students enthusiastically contributed their best to arrive at a deep understanding of their selves.
