Sarvam arranged for a tour of Vedanthangal for the students. Vedanthangal is an asylum of thousands of birds near Chennai. Ambience and climate were beautifully created by God that made everyone forget their presence.

The visit helped the students to learn more about the names of the birds and the species to which they belong.

Coordinators helped the students by explaining more about the birds they saw for the first time. All the students played, sang songs, danced, and enjoyed well there without bothering others. Even onlookers felt enthusiastic when they saw a bus with students singing and playing. It was an unforgettable memory for students to have a jolly time together with friends and learn about various civilizations, cultures, and histories.

Then, all the students visited the famous Thiruvaiyavur temple. They were asked to explore the incredible architectural beauty of the temple.

The students were taken to the Sathanur dam. One of the teachers gave students a brief history of the dam. Students were informed that the dam was built in the year 1958, and it is located near the Chennakeshava hills in the Chengam district. Students were also instructed that the Sathanur dam is built across the Pennaiyar River that originates at the Chennakesava hills. The students were informed that the dam’s total storage capacity is around 7321 million cubic feet when the water stands at its fullest level of 119 feet.

In totality, the educational tours were beneficial for the students as they learned about many ancient historical places. They also used this tour to improve their English language skills by conversing and clarifying their doubts in English. They also took notes for future reference. It was a real-time experience for them, and it became an unforgettable day for all the students.
