SARVAM conducted a 4-day intensive training as part of their second Term for 120 English Access Microscholarship Program students from 31 May 2022 to 3 June 2022.

The first-term intensive sessions were conducted in April.

On the first day of the Intensive session, trainers from Auro Souls focused on enhancing the students' soft skills.  Activities and games were conducted during the sessions, which helped the students easily enrich their life skills.

Trainers from Chennai provided life skill training to all the Access students on 31 May 2022.  This training helped students learn more about life and ways to attain success.

Students were divided into four batches, and various activities and games were conducted during the session.

On 1 June 2022, the Access students were taken to an exposure visit to the Art and Craft village of Puducherry, which was the second day of the training.  This visit helped Access students to witness various handmade items by the artisans.  They also interacted with National Awardees, which gave them confidence and they got enthused by witnessing beautiful crafts.

The experts also gave students hands-on training in painting, creating terracotta dolls, and other arts and crafts.

On the third day, 2 June 2022, the Access students were taken to Bharathiyar Palkalaikoodam, Puducherry.  This College has been teaching South Indian Art and Culture to students in the Puducherry region.  Students are taught spiritual values along with Music, Dance and Fine Arts.

It was an eye-opening experience for the Access students.  The students received hands-on training from expert Professors on vocals, instrumental music and Arts.  Students had fun and had an opportunity to gain wider exposure.

The expert trainers gave the Access students craftwork training on the fourth day.

The trainers taught the students various crafts like jewellery making, wall hangings, key holders, houses and dolls using waste materials.

Moreover, the training gave students a broader view of learning English and exposed them to new facets of it.  It was evident that the students were happy to participate and learn the different kinds of activities on all four days.
