SARVAM, Sri Aurobindo Society has been implementing the Digital Financial Literacy project in more than 60 villages for the last 3 years in the Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. Hundred digital sakhis from various project villages have been trained to create awareness amongst the people in the village with regard to Digital Transactions, Entitlement schemes, and various other aspects related to financial literacy. The project was inaugurated by the Governor of Tamil Nadu and to date, more than 3 lakh people have benefited from it.
After 3 years of successful completion of the DFL project, the LTFS CSR team visited the villages and interacted with the digital sakhis and the community people. They visited the E-Service centers and expressed their happiness about the successful working of the projects.
In continuation of that, Ms. Apurva Rathod, Group Head - Secretarial & CSR and Sustainability from L&T Financial Services distributed the experience certificate to all the 100 Digital Sakhis to appreciate the wonderful work which has been carried out by the Digital Sakhis throughout the 3 years.
This was a proud moment for all the Digital Sakhis to get the experience certificates from the CSR head of LTFS, which will be of much use for their career and future prospects. During the certification program, Ms. Apurva Rathod appreciated the project works and DS.
All the Digital Sakhis happily said that such certificates will be very useful for their future jobs in their life and were thankful to LTFS and SARVAM for creating meaning in their lives.
