SARVAM, Sri Aurobindo Society has been implementing the Digital Financial Literacy project in more than 60 villages for the last 3 years in the Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. A total of 100 digital sakhis from various project villages have been trained to create awareness amongst the people in the villages with regard to Digital Transactions, Entitlement schemes, and various other aspects related to financial literacy. The project was inaugurated by the Governor of Tamil Nadu and as of now, more than 3 lakh people have been benefited from it.
After 3 years of successful completion of the DFL project, LTFS has sent certification of appreciation to all the 100 digital sakhis to encourage the meticulous work which has been carried out by the digital sakhis in all these 3 years. This certificate issued by the LTFS is considered to be a valid and worthy one in the financial arena.
The certificates were distributed by Dr. Natchiar, Director of Aravind Eye Hospital to all the 100 digital sakhis. This was a proud moment for all the digital sakhis to get LTFS certificates of appreciation from Dr. Natchiar which will be of much use for their career growth and future prospects. During the certification program Dr. Natchiar spoke on the ‘Importance of Family and Job” and it was very useful to all DS for their balanced life.
All the Digital Sakhis happily said that they have never received such certificates in their life so far and they thanked LTFS, SARVAM, and Dr. Natchiar for distributing the certificates.
