“I used to stitch blouses for women and was making
little money for my family. Soon I realized that there is
a demand for embroidered blouses and attended
training on embroidering as part of Sri Aurobindo
Society’s upskilling training. I am now able to make
embroidery blouses and earn more money out of my
tailoring unit. I also provide job opportunities for other
women who have basic tailoring skills.”
“I had never maintained any income and expenditure
documentation in my business. Training at Sri
Aurobindo Society educated me on account keeping.
Today I can know how much I earn through my sales.
I also learned to regularly keep track of items that
have more demands from the people. This has
increased my profit from my business.”
