In August 2017, Sri Aurobindo Society started a journey towards a marvellous milestone –
15th August 2022. The 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence The 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo, an eminent leader of India’s freedom movement and a spiritual visionary of human evolution.

Cause

RURAL DEVELOPMENT

• 20,000 people from more than 5,000 families in 18 villages beneficiaries
• More than 500 children appear for Class 10 government board exams every year. 100% pass result for 7th consecutive year.
• 750 students, 100 women & 150 youth have completed various courses at SARVAM’s computer centre set up in 2016

Cause

TRANSFORMATION OF GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS

• 5.5 lakh (550,000) teachers from 75,000 government schools inducted in the state of Uttar Pradesh for grassroots innovation in education
• 24,000 teachers trained in Integral Education for holistic development of students
• 1,250 teachers trained at Comprehensive Mental Health Education

Cause

PALLIATIVE CARE

• 965 patients are under SANJEEVAN care
• 48 home care units have been set up under SANJEEVAN
• 1025 volunteers are working with SANJEEVAN
