On May 9, 2018, Sri Aurobindo Siksha Kendra in Bishnupur organized a special event to celebrate the birth anniversary of world-renowned poet, Rabindranath Tagore. Students performed a number of dances, songs besides reciting several Tagore poems. Teachers also sang several songs – Rabindrasangeets – and gave brief talks on the life of the poet and his immense contribution to the fields on literature, music and several other areas. The event was a huge success and a joyful one.

During 1 to 4 May, 2018, in literature class, stories were dramatized so that students have better understanding of the lessons. Videos were also played to educate students on our solar system, and special emphasis was laid on EVS classes.

From May 7 to 11 May, 2018, regular conversation classes were held following meditation to prepare students to speak fluently in English. In computer class, they learnt different practical activities, and in P.T. & Games classes, the children participated in several outdoor games.

After classes every day, the children rehearsed for the Rabindra Jayanti celebration.

The school was closed for summer vacation from May 14 to 8 June, 2018.
