As part of the MoU between, Sri Aurobindo Society & Pondicherry University, AuroBharati, Svarnim Puducherry, Sri Aurobinndo Society in collaboration with Department of Social Work, PU organized an orientation workshop for the students on 29th November, 2023 at Sri Aurobindo Society. On this occasion, Dr.Jaychandran from Svarnim Puducherry highlighted about the collaboration between SAS & PU and briefed about the objectives of Svarnim Puducherry. Dr. C. Satheesh Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Social Work highlighted the key areas of the projects related to Social work initiated by PU.
Dr. Kishor Kumar Tripathy, Member Secretary, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society informed about the aims and objectives of the Sri Aurobindo Society including the projects and program activities. The interactive session was continued by both the verticals followed by projects and outreach activities. Dr. Tripathy briefed about the various initiatives undertaken by AuroBharati for the preservation of Tangible and Intangible Cultural heritage, Cultural heritage conservation, and International Cultural Relations.
From Svarnim Puducherry, Dr. Jaychandran, Mr. Joy, Mr. Vinod and Ms. Geetha briefed about the projects. The orientation program was also focused on interactions with the students on various aspects of institutional networking, research, and outreach programs.
